WhatsApp Status is the most underused sales channel in Uganda

Most Ugandan sellers already have an audience they are not selling to: everyone who has their number. Status is seen by people who chose to save you, which makes it warmer than any advertisement you could buy, and it costs nothing.
Post the thing, not the announcement
Nobody taps through a status that says "new stock available". They tap one that shows the actual item with its price on it.
Photograph one product, write the price on the image, and put your store link in the caption. One item, one price, one link.
Post at the times people are on their phones
Early morning before work, lunchtime, and the evening after eight. Those are when status gets watched. A post at eleven in the morning on a Tuesday reaches the fewest people.
Always include the link
Your Soko store lives at a fixed address — yourshop.sokoshops.co — which means you only ever have to teach your customers one thing. Put it in every status, in your WhatsApp Business profile, and in your Instagram and TikTok bios.
The link works when you are asleep. A status without one requires you to be available at exactly the moment someone is interested.
Show the shop, not just the stock
Once a week, post something that is not a product: the workshop, a delivery going out, a customer's order packed and ready, the new arrivals being unpacked.
This is the cheapest trust you will ever buy. Buyers who can see that a real business exists behind the catalogue order from it.
